This is real 100% carbon fiber construction with a high-gloss UV-protective clear coat finish. Not a vinyl wrap or plastic imitation.

Does this require professional installation?

Most of our carbon fiber parts are direct bolt-on replacements. Basic hand tools are required. We recommend professional installation for body panels to ensure proper fitment and finish.

How to Install: MyVQParts 370z V1 Vented Full Carbon Fiber Hood

  1. Open the factory hood and support it safely. Have a second person assist with this installation.
  2. Disconnect the hood prop rod, windshield washer nozzles (if applicable), and any other connections.
  3. Mark the hinge bolt positions with a paint marker for alignment reference.
  4. Remove the factory hood by unbolting the hinge bolts (typically 12mm) — keep all hardware.
  5. Place the new carbon fiber hood on a padded surface to avoid scratches.
  6. Bolt the new hood to the hinges using the factory hardware. Do not fully tighten yet.
  7. Adjust the hood alignment — check gaps on both sides and at the cowl and fenders.
  8. Once aligned, torque all bolts to spec.
  9. Reconnect all washer nozzles and prop rod.
  10. Apply a carbon fiber sealant or UV protectant to maintain the finish.
