How to Install: G37 Full Carbon Fiber Hood – Tempered Glass Engine View Window + Vented Design (New Style)
- Open the factory hood and support it safely. Have a second person assist with this installation.
- Disconnect the hood prop rod, windshield washer nozzles (if applicable), and any other connections.
- Mark the hinge bolt positions with a paint marker for alignment reference.
- Remove the factory hood by unbolting the hinge bolts (typically 12mm) — keep all hardware.
- Place the new carbon fiber hood on a padded surface to avoid scratches.
- Bolt the new hood to the hinges using the factory hardware. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Adjust the hood alignment — check gaps on both sides and at the cowl and fenders.
- Once aligned, torque all bolts to spec.
- Reconnect all washer nozzles and prop rod.
- Apply a carbon fiber sealant or UV protectant to maintain the finish.
